Tree can find anything that's ever been public on the internet. A former systems analyst who got bored watching data instead of chasing it, she can piece together an old social media history from public archives before her coffee cools, connect an anonymous profile to a real name through a single birthday party photo, and pull a timeline out of photo details most people don't know exist. If it was ever posted publicly, Tree has probably already seen it.
What makes her dangerous is that she doesn't stay behind the screen. Tree is a master of disguise who has walked into boardrooms as a caterer, into biker bars as a bored girlfriend, and into a country club gala as a visiting Swiss heiress (accent included). She keeps a closet of wigs, glasses, uniforms, and name badges, and she can become someone new in about eleven minutes. Her rule: "The best disguise isn't a costume. It's the person nobody bothers to look at twice."
Missy has a gift: people tell her things. Maybe it's the warm smile, the easy laugh, or the way she leans in like you're the most interesting person in the room. Either way, within twenty minutes of meeting her, suspects are confessing secrets they haven't told their therapist. She never pushes. She just asks the right question, waits, and lets the silence do the work.
Her specialty is catching cheaters, and her instincts are almost uncanny. She notices the new cologne, the phone flipped face down, the "work trip" that somehow needed swim trunks. Missy has sat two tables away from more secret dinners than she can count, and she always gets the photo. Clients come to her heartbroken and unsure; they leave with the truth and, usually, a best friend for life.
